These innovative adhesives by Loctite are basically glue sticks for your threadlocking needs. The adhesive in the stick is threadlocker 268, a high strength anaerobic threadlocking material. Convenience is the main attraction with the QuickStix. The sticks are easy to use, self-feeding and they’re great for working overhead because the solid adhesive wont drip or spill.
Loctite QuickStix are available in a 9 gram stick and a 19 gram stick.

Pro-Line is known for both their benches and chairs. The shear number of benches and chairs combined with colors and accessories make it difficult to choose the right bench. To make things easier, Pro-Line now offers their Bench in a Box line. This line of benches includes several styles of benches complete with accessories; plus the bench or benches, conveniently ship in only one box (box shown to the left).
Twenty different benches are offered and include:
- Technical benches, packaging benches, cantilever benches, ergonomic benches and general benches
- ESD-Safe and non ESD-Safe benches
- Two tone color schemes
- Bench dimensions range from 30x60x30″ to 30x72x96″
These benches take the guess work out of choosing the correct accessories for a particular bench. In addition, all Pro-Line Bench in a Box benches are quick ship, meaning they ship in just five to seven days.
All-Spec also carries ESD workbenches by brands such as WSI, IAC and Arlink; many of which are customizable, ESD-safe and shipped in five to seven days.

Many of OKi’s new soldering systems including the OKi PS-900 feature SmartHeat Technology. This technology is basically ESP for your soldering system. Any system that features the SmartHeat will sense the thermal requirement needed for each job and then deliver the correct thermal energy needed to create a reliable joint without using a super high temperature. This sensing reduces the risk of component damage.
Below are some of the benefits of OK International’s SmartHeat Technology.
- Transfer of Stored Thermal Energy – Conventional soldering systems store the thermal energy in the tip and once the tip touches the pad, the energy rushes into the pad. But SmartHeat Technology allows the system to act differently depending on the pad’s thermal demands which once again gives the operator the thermal energy needed at the lowest temperature possible.
- Reduced Risk of Undershoot and Overshoot – SmartHeat detects the energy requirement and then controls that energy to avoid an unreliable joint or damage to PCBs or components.
- Temperature Stability Over Time – The molecular properties of the material used in the heater don’t shift over time and that’s why SmartHeat systems do not need recalibrated or recertified.
- Rating System to Help with Tip Selection – Choosing the correct soldering tip is important, after all it’s how all the energy travels from the heater to the pad. That is why OKi developed the conductivity factor rating system to provide operators with the guidance they need. Also, OKi’s power meter can quantify the energy requirements needed for the pad.
- Ideal for Lead-Free – The thermal energy needed for lead-free soldering is greater than the energy needed for leaded solders. Systems with SmartHeat offer the thermal energy needed for lead-free but at lower operating temperatures.
- Longer Tip Life – High tip temperature combined with oxidation and flux corrosion can rapidly deteriorate the working life of a soldering tip. A soldering system with SmartHeat Technology operates at a lower temperature so soldering tips are less affected by chemical interactions and the high heat.

We’ve recently added Fowler to our already extensive line card. Fowler is known for their test and measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gages and more. They’ve been around for over 60 years so they are pretty well-known for their products.
We’ve added around 40 new products tools including hardened stainless steel calipers, electronic calipers and micrometers.
Fowler also produces deburring cutters which are great for smoothing holes, tubing and milled areas. The cutters are color coded according to the metal they’re designed to cut. For example, green is for aluminum, red for brass, yellow is for plastic and blue is for steel. All-Spec also carries the replacement heads for those cutters.
We are currently stocking a good variety of the Fowler tools, and the tools we don’t stock ship in 5-7 days.

Over the past couple months, All-Spec Industries has added a couple well-known brands and one of them is Dremel. Dremel is a household name for handheld rotary tools, and the tools are so well known because they can be used for almost anything. In fact, the Dremel website even has a page designated for Dremel projects.
All-Spec now carries several Dremel rotary tool kits that vary in price, accessories and power.
The Dremel 400-3/55 is our largest kit with over 55 accessories. The rotary handtool included with this kit is a variable speed tool (5,000 to 35,000 rpm) that offers precision and performance. The 400-3/55 also comes with the durable XPR storage case.
At the other end of the spectrum is the Dremel 275-02 rotary tool kit (pictured above). Like all the rotary tool kits, this kit can be used by anyone, but it’s ideal for crafters and hobbyists because it includes just the basic accessories (just 10). The rotary tool included is single speed but at 35,000 RPM this tool can sand, drill, cut and more.
Believe it or not, Dremel also makes other power handtools besides the rotary tools and All-Spec now carries a couple of them.

The Dremel 290-01 electric engraver is great for engraving initials into tools and equipment.

The Dremel 1120-01 is a 7.2 Volt electric screwdriver that’s really handy with its three hour charge and eight piece bit set.
We now stock many of the Dremel tools that we advertise.
