Kimberly-Clark, widely recognized for their innovative workplace solutions, is committed to more than product quality alone. Through their Reduce Today, Respect Tomorrow* approach to sustainability, Kimberly-Clark is dedicated to lowering the environmental impact of their products. That’s why they’ve partnered with TerraCycle to create RIGHTCYCLE*, a national salvaging system for previously non-recyclable or hard-to-recycle waste.
The goal of RIGHTCYCLE* is to protect our environment while providing solutions to mitigate excess – helping customers to reach their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and sustainability goals in the process. By making it easy to recycle items like cleanroom garments and gloves, they can be repurposed into a range of eco-friendly products available at major national retailers including Wal-Mart and Whole Foods Market.
If you’re currently laundering your garments, the RIGHTCYCLE* program may have you thinking twice about single-use options. Repetitious processing can lead to cross-contamination at the laundry facility and reduced protection properties. RIGHTCYCLE* provides a waste-free solution for single-use garments and protects the integrity of your environment.
Now, what’s good for your business is good for the planet. For more information on the RIGHTCYCLE* program, read this pdf or contact Kimberly-Clark directly at 800-255-6401.
OK International recently announced their plans to globally rebrand the OKi brand. All OKI products will soon be globally named as Metcal products. The rebranding started July 1st and is expected to be completed by September 2013. According to Gary Stoffer, Global Director of Sales and Marketing, the purpose of the rebranding is to make the product line “… more accessible to a wider audience by carrying forward the value proposition created by the OKi brand…”
As for All-Spec, all OKi branded products will remain in stock but will be replaced with Metcal branded products as our current OKi stock is depleted. Products formerly branded as OKi will remain the same with the exception of a logo change; these products will function the same, offer the same performance and bear the same warranty.
Over the next few months, we will work on implementing the branding change throughout our website; we will post again when that is complete.

We are happy to announce that we are participating in a new promotion from Weller! From now until December 31st, 2012 whenever you purchase a WX soldering station you will receive a free WX series hand piece set.
The Weller WX series soldering stations have many great features, such as an intelligent tool recognition system which automatically adjusts the settings to match the current hand piece. This will be especially helpful with the Weller promotion, as you can get the WXMT-MS tweezers for free with a soldering station that already comes with the WXP120 soldering pencil, and then effortlessly switch between the two without having to endlessly adjust settings.
Weller WX series soldering stations also feature intuitive touch screen controls. The LCD screen is made of anti-static, chemical, and temperature resistant glass, providing protection to the system without generating static that could damage your products.
There is also an energy saving feature on the Weller WX series stations, switching your iron to low power when not in use. This can reduce energy consumption, helping you save money on operating costs.
For more information, and for the promotional form, go to our Weller WX series promotion page! Have additional questions? Call customer service at (800) 537-0351.
